(1)冷卻塔的安裝應(yīng)根據(jù)設(shè)備的各種條件，考慮其安裝位置的地面及其荷載能力，同時(shí)也考慮外界條件。

(2)安裝時(shí)應(yīng)注意冷卻塔的基礎(chǔ)按規(guī)定的尺寸預(yù)埋好水平鋼板，各基礎(chǔ)點(diǎn)的標(biāo)高應(yīng)在同一標(biāo)高的水平面上。

(3)塔體應(yīng)放置水平。水塔在施工安裝時(shí)，為防止壓壞底盤，施工人員應(yīng)踏在底盤的加強(qiáng)筋上，在安裝塔外殼、底盤等纖維件時(shí)，為防止外殼底盤等變形可先穿螺釘，而后依次逐漸緊固，在確認(rèn)底盤不變形，附近干凈、干燥的條件下，為避免使用時(shí)漏水可在接觸處鋪設(shè)纖維氈及涂樹脂。

冷卻塔不得安裝在通風(fēng)不良和出現(xiàn)濕空氣回流的場合，須安裝在通風(fēng)良好的場所。否則將會降低冷卻塔的冷卻能力。冷卻塔一般安裝在冷凍站的屋頂上，以形成高壓頭，用以克服冷凝器的阻力損失。水泵將需要處理的冷卻水從水池抽出送至冷卻塔，經(jīng)冷卻降溫后從塔底集水盤向下自流壓入冷凝器中，并繼而靠水頭壓差自流入水池，如此循環(huán)。
